Govern CRM is a community relationship management platform designed for organizing and engaging contacts through structured lists, groups, and data-driven outreach tools. It supports features like contact segmentation, map visualizations, engagement tracking, polls, and customizable fields to tailor the system to organizational needs.

Data visualization: Displaying all CRM contacts on the map without performance issues.
User customization: Implementing flexible features like custom fields.
Permissions and data sharing: Handling shared reports and ensuring visibility across users’ accounts.
Calendar integration: Designing a calendar feature that supports engagement tracking and task assignment without relying on third-party services initially.
Solutions Implemented
We implemented a flexible contact management system where users can create custom lists and groups, assign contacts, track engagements, and use polls to gather input. A map view displays contacts based on list/group selection, and users can customize data views using the "Edit Columns" functionality. A calendar-based management interface was also introduced, allowing users to track engagement deadlines, assign tasks, and visualize activity over time.
